How the business directory works

The business directory brings together, by category, practical guidance for visitors to the Maraú Peninsula and, when there is a source, a list of businesses. The rules are few and apply to everyone:

• Only verifiable public sources. A business appears only if its details are found in a public source: an official website, Cadastur registration, a publication by the Maraú City Hall or an equivalent document. Each item shows the source used and the date it was checked.
• No phone and no WhatsApp. We publish the name, category, address and official website or profile.
• Sponsorship always labeled. A paid placement is labeled Sponsored and does not change the editorial text.
• Not a ranking. Being in the guide is not a recommendation. To choose, compare reviews, cancellation policies and, for tours, whether the boat is properly registered.

The categories

Each category has its own page explaining what to look for before booking:

• Accommodation and guesthouses: where to stay and what to check when booking.
• Bars and restaurants: where they are and how to avoid queues in high season.
• Tours, agencies and local operators: boat trips, diving and transport, with what to ask before paying.
• Shops and crafts: everyday shopping and souvenirs.
• Services: transport, money, internet and other useful services.
• Health: emergencies and care with sun, sea and trails.
