Who can be listed

Guesthouses, hotels and hostels, bars and restaurants, boat-trip, diving and transfer operators, agencies, local tour operators and tourist transport companies, shops and craftspeople, and services useful to visitors on the Maraú Peninsula (Barra Grande, Taipu de Fora, Cassange, Saquaíra, Algodões and other villages). Businesses from neighboring towns, such as Camamu, are included when they directly serve visitors to the peninsula.

What we publish

We do not publish phone or WhatsApp numbers. Visitors find the business through the official website or profile you provide.

Tips to speed things up

  • Provide your Cadastur number if the business has one. Cadastur is the Brazilian Ministry of Tourism’s registry for accommodation, agencies, tourist transport companies, guides and other providers.
  • Use an email address you check: that is how we reply.
  • Describe what the business offers in a few lines; the text in the guide is written by our editors.

Is the listing free?

Yes. The basic listing in the business directory is free. Any paid placement that may exist in the future will always be labeled as sponsored.

How long until the business appears in the guide?

As soon as our editors have checked the details against a public source. There is no fixed deadline; if something is missing, we will contact you at the email address you provide.

Can businesses from Camamu or other nearby towns be listed?

The focus is the Maraú Peninsula. Businesses from neighboring towns are included when they directly serve visitors to the peninsula, such as local tour operators, transport and services in the region.

Do boat and diving operators need to provide anything else?

Yes. If you have them, provide the registration of the boat or company with the competent authorities and any authorizations to operate in the Camamu Bay protected area. Our editors check them against a public source before publishing.

Can I ask for a listing to be corrected or removed?
