Camamu Bay boat trip
The classic outing. It leaves from Barra Grande and stops at islands and villages in Camamu Bay, such as Ilha da Pedra Furada and Campinho. Some routes include the Tremembé waterfall. The stops depend on the tide and the operator.
Natural pools and Atlantic beaches
A trip to Taipu de Fora at low tide, often combined with Cassange Lagoon and nearby beaches. You travel on dirt and sand roads, by transfer, quad bike or 4x4.
Sports
Wikivoyage mentions diving and snorkeling, surfing and other water sports, sailing (the bay is good for it) and walks through mangroves and woodland. See snorkeling and diving.
Before you book
Ask about the route and stops, the departure time in relation to the tide, whether there are life jackets for everyone and whether the company follows the APA’s rules. See the tours section of the business directory.
